Seamless Experience

Hosting Australs will be a big undertaking, but we will be pulling out all the stops to ensure your tournament experience is a seamless one.

Registration

Early in 2010 we will invite teams to pre-register their interest to gain an indicative number of interested teams and adjudicators. From there we will then host an online registration process handling payments and information for delegates and adjudicators.

Arrivals and departures process

We realise that arriving into an international airport in a foreign country can be a stressful experience. We will therefore be placing helpers at Auckland International Airport to oversee the arrivals process and direct delegates onto the relevant transport into Auckland city. Upon arrival at the hotel, there will be a seamless check-in process. Before long you can be up the top of the Sky Tower to enjoy welcoming drinks and settling into your hotel room.

At the conclusion of the tournament we will assist with delegates’ departures back to the airport, or can suggest a range of destinations and attractions if you’re going on to see more of New Zealand.

Tournament Logistics

We will have a dedicated team of runners who will direct debaters and adjudicators to venues, as well as assisting with the collection of marksheets to ensure the draw is completed as speedily as possible. We have identified a tab system that will keep the tournament on schedule, and we have capacity within the organisational committee to adapt this software to suit our needs.
